Chapter 5: Setting Up WAN Firmware and Hardware

Use the following buttons to set up firmware information:

OTES

The Properties button in the Firmware section is disabled 
because this product has no configurable layers.

If you load firmware, save changes and restart the system 
as described in 

Saving WAN Setup Properties

 on page 87

.

Load

Download the current firmware to the selected card.

CAUTION: This option disconnects all current RAS-
connected users and disables the RAS Server. After a 
firmware download, the RAS Server must be re-enabled 
by being stopped and restarted, as follows:

From the 

Start

Settings

Control 

Panel

. Then double-click the 

Services

 icon to display the 

Services dialog box.

Remote Access Server 

from the list of services,

When a message informs you that the RAS Port Manager
