The entire 680x series of printers can be used while the bat-
teries are being recharged.
Charging your Printer with the Cigarette
Lighter Adapter
1. Plug the cigarette lighter cord into a standard ciga-
rette lighter in your vehicle.
2. Plug the other end of the cord into the DC jack on the
side of the printer. The battery light will glow red
while the battery is charging. When it is fully charged,
the light will glow green.
6806 Printers
To connect the lighter adapter, slide back the round rubber
boot to access the DC jack and charge LED.
6804 and 6808 Series of Printers
To access the charge jack, open the cover then insert the
plug.
The entire 680x series of printers can be used while the bat-
teries are being recharged.
Replacing the Fuse
If the printer does not respond when it is connected to the
cigarette lighter adapter, it is possible that the fuse in the
adaptor may be blown.
1. To check, remove the cigarette lighter adapter from all
power supplies and unscrew the cover over the pin.
