Unfolding the MINY
In order to unfold the MINY, proceed as follows:
First, check to ensure that the MINY parking brake is deactivated�
Pick the MINY up by the back end�
Grasp the spokes on one of the back wheels and use your thumb to press
the button located on the wheel axle�
Keep the button pressed down and slide the wheel back into the axle re-
ceptacle on the frame�
Release the button and check to ensure that the wheel is secure� Make
sure that the wheel can no longer be pulled off!
Attention: Do not press the button while performing this check�
Repeat the same steps with the other back wheel�
Fold the push bar unit backward until it audibly clicks into place�
Then secure the pivoting top piece of the push bar into position, as de-
scribed above (see Section
7

Then adjust the push bar to the desired height� To do this, pull the push bar
to the desired height�
Secure the push bar in position by tightening the quick-release connectors,
as described above (see Section
7

If the clamping pressure is not sufficient (push bar still loose), then pro-
ceed as described above (see Section

Drum brake-enabled back wheels
The MINY is equipped with two parking drum brakes on the two back wheels, which
can be activated independently of each other� The brake levers are equipped with a
three-level ratchet mechanism, which provides for varying levels of braking action�

Activating the parking brake
In order to activate the parking
brake, proceed as follows:
Engage both brake handles on
the push bar (Fig�
18
)� Make
sure that the brake handle
does not return to the starting
position (locking mechanism
will click audibly into place);
otherwise the parking brake
has not been activated�
