Folding mechanism for transporting the MINY
The MINY is equipped with a folding mechanism in order to make transport easier�
The back unit including push bar is folded forward; it is also possible to remove
the back wheels� This greatly condenses the size of the wheelchair for transport�

Folding up the MINY
In order to fold up the MINY, proceed as follows:
Remove the seat shell (see Section
7

)
Loosen the height adjustment mechanism on the push bar (see Section
7
�

)
Loosen the screw connections on the push bar angle adjustment mecha-
nisms on the right and left side of the push bar (see Section
7
�
3
�

)
Loosen the spring-loaded locking system for the folding mechanism on the
push bar (Fig�
16
) by pressing down on the central cable system connect-
ing the two perforated plates
to the bottom of the two back
posts and simultaneously
swiveling the push bar forward
until the back together with the
push bar comes into contact
with the top frame of the MINY�
Then remove the back wheels�
To do this, raise the MINY
slightly so that the back wheel
to be removed is no longer in
contact with the ground�
Grasp the spokes on the back
wheel and use your thumb to
press the button located at the
center of the wheel axle (Fig�
17
)�
Keep the button pressed down
and pull the wheel out of the
axle receptacle� Make sure that
the brake has been deactivated
on the wheel being removed!
Repeat the same steps with
the second back wheel�
The MINY is now ready for transport�
