Battery
Fan Connectors
A battery on the motherboard keeps the clock
and values in CMOS RAM current when your
computer is turned off. To replace the battery,
see Chapter 3.
Speaker
An optional speaker is mounted on the
motherboard. The speaker provides audible
error code information (beep codes) during the
POST if the BIOS cannot use the video

USB Interface Support
The USB ports permit the direct connection of
two USB peripherals without an external hub. If
more devices are required, an external hub can
be connected to either of the built-in ports. The
motherboard supports the standard universal
host controller interface (UHCI) and uses
standard software drivers that are
compatible.
