(such as servers) to the hub stack at full duplex. This can improve network
performance.

You can extend the 100Mbps network topology only by connecting hubs to
a switch, bridge, or optional Ethernet or Fiber Modules. You can’t extend
the topology by daisy-chaining hubs together. In the example above, the
network diameter is extended to 400 meters by connecting two hub stacks to
a switch. Each stack is a separate collision domain (segment). You can also
use the optional Fiber Module to extend the network up to 2km between
hub stacks.
