(A) JP1: Keyboard and PS/2 Mouse OnNow function selection
The Keyboard and PS/2 Mouse OnNow function is designed on the mainboard and
you can use keyboard and mouse key clicks to power on the PC system. However,
there may have some keyboard and mouse are not compatible with the OnNow
function and that will cause the PC system fail to boot. Since we can not control
what keyboard and mouse will be connected to the PC system, so there is the JP1
designed on the mainboard to control the OnNow function. Please refer to the
following picture and select the proper setting on JP1:

Pin1 & Pin 2 Short: OnNow Disabled
Pin 2 & Pin 3 Short: OnNow Enabled

Note: The default setting of JP1 is “OnNow Disabled”. If you
want to use the Keyboard / mouse key click to power on the
PC system, you have to change the JP1 setting so that the
“OnNow” function will be enabled.
