Problems and Possible Solutions 8 - 13

USB Hotfix

The computer’s

USB devices “hang”

(including the internal USB PC Camera
module, WLAN module etc.).

You have a computer with

4GB

of RAM and are having problems with USB de-

vices (with both internal and external USB devices). This is a known issue and
can be resolved by installing the

USB hotfix

provided on the Device Drivers &

Uti User’s Manual

as follows (make sure your user account type is set as

an administrator).

Insert the

Device Drivers & Uti User’s Manual

disc.

Click

Browse CD/DVD

(button).

Double-click to open the following folders

Others > USB_hotfix

(X:\Others\USB_hotfix).

Right-click newusb2c.exe and select “

Run as administrator

”.

The USB hotfix will install.

You will need to restart the computer to fully apply the hotfix.
