To set up Cortana to respond automatically:

Open the search bar, tap (Notebook), and then tap (Settings).

Under Hey Cortana , tap the bar to turn on Let Cortana respond to "Hey
Cortana."
Use Cortana

Tap (microphone) in the search bar.
OR
Say "Hey Cortana" (see steps above to set up Cortana to respond
automatically).
2 Say a command or search term, and then answer Cortana's follow-up
questions, if needed.
