RECOMMENDATIONS
FOR
USE
The
following
recommendations
should
help
you
limit
your
exposure
to
radio
waves.
Use
earphones
(or
hands
‐
free
kit)
during
phone
calls.
Exposures
to
radio
waves
are
reduced
as
soon
as
you
move
the
mobile
away
from
your
body
(head
and
trunk).
The
use
of
earphones
reduces
the
exposure
of
your
head.
This
advice
is
especially
aimed
at
very
intensive
users.
When
using
earphones,
teenagers
and
pregnant
women
are
advised
to
keep
the
mobile
phone
away
from
their
lower
abdomen.
You
should
also
comply
with
the
conditions
of
use
set
by
the
manufacturer
in
the
instruction
manual.
This
may
indicate
a
distance
to
be
maintained
between
the
trunk
and
the
mobile
phone.
SAFETY
AND
RESTRICTIONS
FOR
USE
Please
check
the
instruction
manual
provided
by
the
manufacturer.
Do
not
call
while
driving
Using
a
mobile
phone
while
driving,
with
or
without
a
hands
‐
free
kit,
can
provoke
a
serious
accident.
Make
phone
calls
preferably
in
areas
where
signal
reception
is
good.
Your
phone
automatically
adjusts
its
transmission
power
based
on
the
radio
signals
received
from
your
network
operator.
When
radio
reception
is
good
(4
or
5
bars
on
the
phone
screen),
the
phone
emits
weaker
radiations:
your
exposure
to
radio
waves
is
reduced
accordingly.
Advise
your
children
and
teenagers
to
use
mobile
phones
moderately.
Make
sure
they
know
the
means
to
reduce
their
exposure
when
using
mobile
phones.
Health
effects
were
demonstrated
on
children
and
teenagers
because
they
are
more
susceptible,
since
their
bodies
are
under
development.
If
you
are
wearing
an
electronic
implant
(pacemaker,
insulin
pump,
neuro
‐
stimulator...):
Leave
a
distance
of
at
least
15
cm
between
the
mobile
phone
and
the
implant;
always
use
the
mobile
telephone
on
the
side
opposite
to
that
of
the
implant.
You
are
advised
to
require
your
doctor's
recommendation
since
he
knows
well
your
implant
specifications.
Regulation
In
Europe,
2
W/kg
is
the
limit
not
to
exceed
for
exposure
to
radio
waves
for
the
head
and
trunk
(in
France,
Decree
and
Order
of
October
8,
2003).
This
limit
is
based
on
in
‐
depth
scientific
data
evaluations.
We
certify
that
the
power
supply
is
used
as
a
device
for
disconnecting
the
power
distribution
network,
which
should
stay
easily
accessible.
