The service settings below are only available when CSD has been selected as a bearer
service.
Name : WAP data connection name.
Bearer : Bearer service type selection.
User Name
: User name for dial up server.
Password
: Password for dial up server.
Dial Up Number : Telephone number to dial to access your WAP gateway.
Timeout : Timeout periods for browser to report a failure to send a data
(e.g. because the WAP gateway is not responding).
Data Call Type : You need to select the type of data call to make, that is: Analogue or
ISDN (digital).
Date Call Speed : Select the call speed of data call.
Note
You need a subscription that supports data transmission.
The service settings below are only available when
GPRS
has been selected as a bearer
service. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) allows fast and efficient access where you
can always be online.
Name
: WAP data connection name.
Bearer
: Bearer service type selection.
User Name : User name for dial up server.
Password : Password for dial up server.
Access Point Name : URL to access WAP gateway.
Note
You need a subscription that supports GPRS.

IrDA
The IrDA menu is for receiving file from other device(PC, mobile phone, PDA, etc.) and
using modem functionality via infrared port. While IrDA menu is turn on your phone is
ready for receiving file from another device. If file is received idle screen will display
received file message then you can access file according to the displayed message.Also
you can using modem function while this menu is turn on. If there is no action using
infrared port it will automatically turn off after 1 minute for saving battery life.
Regardless of this menu is on or off you can send file via infrared to another device on
File Manager
menu.
