Set as Activate
: This option activates the chosen setting as a current WAP profile
setting to be used for the WAP connection.
Edit : This option edits the WAP profile setting values.
Add New : This option adds new WAP profile setting values.
Delete : This option deletes a WAP profile setting values.
Note
The setting value varies according to the WAP service provider. So please contact your
network service provider for the values before using WAP services.
If you select Edit , the following options are available.
Name
: WAP profile name.
Home Page URL : Home page URL. This URL will be selected whenever Home is pressed
Direct Connection : Select between gateway On and Off.
IP Address : WAP gateway IP address.
Connection Type : Choose the connection type as required.
Data Connections
: Choose the data connection that you require.
<Cache>
Viewed pages can be stored in a file (cookie) for faster download. Fetching pages from
the cache loads the page faster.
Enable Cache : Enables cache setting.
Clear : Clears all the cache received. Clear Clear
<Cookies>
Setting to allow WAP browser to store cookies received from WAP server.
Enable Cookies : Enables cookie setting.
Clear : Clears all the cookie received. Clear Clear
<Graphics>
For On , the graphics pictures are always displayed every time the browser opens a WAP
page. For
Off
, the graphics pictures are not displayed.

This lists the trusted root certificates that are stored on the handset for secure-mode
connections. Security certificate are used by some WAP services for security purpose,
