Elektrofachkraft durchgeführ t werden.
Important:
When lifting the lamp, hold it by the base
only, not by the retaining rod.
Caution:
Do not connect the lamp to the mains before
completing the assembly.
Important:
As with other lamps, you are advised not to
look directly at the light source.
Assembly
Carefully remove the lamp from the packaging and place
it upright on a flat surface. Release the locking pliers (

)
by pressing the lever towards the handle (2).

Caution:
Do not touch the circuit board with metal
objects!
The pliers (
1
) are adjusted so that they grip the metal
sleeve (4) on the circuit board. Before locking the pliers,
make sure that the board is correctly positioned (3),
parallel to the jaws (5) of the pliers. This will prevent the
board from becoming scratched. 2
The distance between the jaws (5) may be increased or
reduced as necessary. Tighten the adjusting screw (6) if
the circuit board seems too loose. Loosen the screw
slightly if you have any difficulty in locking the pliers. 3
Thread the red-and-black cable through the two silicone
rings (7) on the retaining rod. Push one ring upwards to
secure the cable on the upper par t of the rod. The
second ring is used to secure the cable on the lower par t
of the rod. 4
Inser t the black plug in the terminal marked "Masse" on
the circuit board, and the red plug in the terminal marked
"+24V". 5
