into the holes in the base plate and loosely linking them
to the cage bars by hand. Use a pair of needle-nose pliers
or the wire hook (
2 ) to carefully tighten all three spring
wires and clamp to the cage bars so that the cage is
firmly secured to the base plate.

ON/OFF switch
The slider control on the transformer is used for dimming
and switching the lamp ON and OFF.
Replacing the light bulb
Caution: Disconnect from the power supply and let the
lamp cool down completely. Do NOT touch the inner
glass of the light bulb with your bare hands (risk of finger-
mark damage)!
Remove the front cage as described under “Inserting the
light bulb” .
Detach the protective cover ( 5 ) by lifting it upwards and
remove the spent light bulb. Inser t the new bulb, pressing
it firmly into the socket, and replace the protective
cover.

Fasten the cage as described under “Inserting the light
bulb” .
Care
Clean the lamp carefully using a feather duster.
Do NOT use any cleaning agents that contain solvents!

This symbol indicates that only a “self-shielded”
light bulb may be used.
Any repairs that become necessary must be performed
by a qualified electrician. If the external power cable be-
comes damaged, it may only be replaced by Ingo Maurer
GmbH.
