OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
•
Always use clean, dry air at 90 psig (6.2 bar/
620 kPa) maximum at the tool inlet.
•
Lubrication -- Inject approximately 1.5 cc of
Powerforce No. 50 Oil into the air inlet before
starting the tool and after each two or three hours
of operation, unless the air line lubricator is used.
Lubricate with 1.5 cc of Powerforce No. 50 Oil
before storage.
•
Use a 5/16” (8 mm) inside diameter air supply
hose.
•
Impact Mechanism Lubrication -- Remove oiler
screw assembly (3). Add approximately 1.5 cc of
Powerforce No. Oil. Tighten oiler screw assembly.
•
Forward/Reverse Operation -- Press side of throttle
(2) that has the clockwise arrow on it to tighten a
nut. Press side of bar that has the counter--
clockwise arrow on it to loosen a nut. If the threads
are left--handed, reverse the procdure.
•
Speed Adjustment -- Rotate regulator (16) to adjust
the speed of the tool. Number 8 on the regulator
indicates full speed and number 0 indicates
minimum speed.
