SECTION 7 - TOUBLE SHOOTING - GENERAL MAINTENANCE

TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the Cover located at the Vibration Unit. Loosen Bolt (1) holding the Pulley (B) until the Timing Belt loosens naturally.
2.To replace the new Timing Belt use the following procedures.

a. The impress-mark (2) of the Pulley (a) is the underside position. The Tension Arm is the vertical position.
b. Tighten the Bolt (1) and the Timing Belt is adusted automatically.
c. Check to be sure that the position of each part is correct after the Timing Belt tension is made.
d. Check the Stop Rubber and Packing for cracks and damage, replace if necessary.
e. Clean the Cover and reinstal
