Terminal in its environment
Install the terminal on a flat surface with easy access to an electrical
outlet, if needed. Place the terminal away from any heat source and
protected from dust, vibrations, and electromagnetic radiation (away
from video terminals, PC, or anti-shoplifting barriers).
Position the iSMP4 to make sure cardholder PIN entry secure.

Power mode / wake up
ISMP4 may be powered on/off or put in sleep mode and awaked
by using the button placed on the lateral top right of the terminal.

When the terminal is in normal mode (active) :
Press this button briefly to place it in sleep mode
Press this button for more than 3 seconds to power
off the terminal
Note
: you can power off the terminal by pressing
simultaneously the “-“ + yellow keys for a few seconds
when the terminal is not in charging mode.
When the terminal is in sleep mode, press this button
briefly to awaken the terminal.
When terminal is off, press this button for a few seconds to
power on the terminal.
Note
: The terminal automatically turns on or awakens
when the battery or the USB-C cable are inserted.

A USB type C connector is located on right side of the terminal.
