8.5   Filter Clips  
 
 

The filter clips used for holding 2”, 4” and cartridge filters vary depending on the arrange

 

ment of the filters. Below is an illustration of the clips and how they are installed. 

  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Depending on the filters used, the clips can be turned to hold the filters in place. The clips 

 

can be easily fastened to the filter rack using the VIS FTSQ 1/4-20 x 5/8 screws

. 

The clips 

 

are slotted for easy removal. 

 
 

HEPA Filter Clips (Swing Bolts) 

 

HEPA filter have swing bolts as filter brackets and can have up to 4 per filter. The fastening 

 

is done by tightening the bolt on the holding bracket and thus applying proper pressure on 

 

the filter to, in turn, make good seal with the filter frame. Proper tightening is required.

HEPA FILTER BRACKETS 
Use the provide filter brackets referred 
to as swing bolts. There are four (4)  
filter swing bolts per filter.
