Save Settings:
Save the set parameters in the DVR to a removable storage device.
Note
: Do not take out the USB memory or cut off the power during upgrading. When the update is
done, system will automatically restart. The upgrading will take about 5 minutes to finish. It is
recommended to
load factory default
settings after upgrading. The auto maintain function can be
effective only when DVR returns back to Preview mode with no other operation within the set auto
maintain time.

Go to “Main Menu”
“Advance”
“Events” to enter into the events menu as shown in Picture 5-55.

Event Type:
Select the event type: Disk Full, Disk Error and Video Loss.
Enable:
Check to enable the event notification
Latch Time:
When a motion is detected, the alarm time can be set as 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 40
seconds and 60 seconds.
Alarm Out:
Check to activate Alarm relay out when a motion is detected.
Show Message:
Messages will be displayed on the screen when moving object is detected.
Send Email:
Check to send Email notification when a motion is detected.
Buzzer:
Enable/Disable buzzer alarm when a motion is detected. The users can choose the buzzer
alarm to be raised for 10, 20, 40 or 60 seconds)
5.2.7 Shutdown
Go to “Main Menu”
“Shutdown” to shut down the DVR (see Picture 5-56)
