TO REPLACE THE HARNESS
STEP 1
Place one end of the harness through the
required shoulder slot hole
(See Arrow 1 in
Fig. 18)
then up and over the shoulder rod
(See Arrow 2 in Fig. 18)
and connect to the
metal spreader plate by passing the webbing
through the “gate”
(See Arrow 3 on Fig. 18
and Fig. 15 on Page 8).
STEP 2
Feed the other end of the harness and the
buckle tongue through the thigh slot
(See
Arrows 4 in Fig. 18).
STEP 3
Continue to feed the end of the harness and
the buckle tongue in the gap BETWEEN THE
SEAT SHELL AND THE METAL SLIDE in the
direction of
Arrows 5 and 6 in Fig. 19
and up
through the other thigh slot
(See Arrow 7 in
Fig. 19).
STEP 4
Engage buckle tongues in the buckle
and feed the end of the harness
through the required shoulder slot hole
(See Arrow 8 in Fig. 20).
Ensure that
the shoulder slot hole is the same level
as used in Step 1.
STEP 5
Pass the end of the harness over the
shoulder rod
(See Arrow 9 in Fig. 20)
and
then down to the metal spreader plate
and secure through the “gate”.
(See
Arrow 10 in Fig. 20).
STEP 6
Test the harness is securely fastened
and is without any twisting. Ensure
buckle is in the middle of the restraint.
THE RESTRAINT HARNESS
IS NOW READY FOR USE.
