SSBC 2009 DVD UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

UPDATES SILVER STRIKE BOWLER'S CLUB 2007 TO SSBC 2009

To start you will need:

•

Silver Strike Bowler's Club 2009 Update Disk labeled Game Version 2.XX.XX

•

External USB 2.0 DVD drive. For convenience, an extra USB cable is provided with each Silver

Strike Bowler's Club cabinet or kit. It should be located under the control panel along with a 3-prong
AC power cord to power the DVD drive. Please check your DVD drive, as some require their own
power connector.

The DVD Update comes with:

•

Software Update Disk marked Silver Strike Bowler's Club 2009

Version 2.XX.XX

•

New Silver Strike Bowler's Club 2009 Cabinet Marquee

Follow these steps carefully:

1. Complete a collection on your machine.

2. Turn off all power to the game. It is best to use the Soft Power Button located on the underside of

the control panel. Note that some cabinets may not have the Soft Power button installed.

3. Plug power cord of DVD player into outlet.

4. Connect USB cable from DVD player to Nighthawk Chassis.

5. Turn on DVD player and insert the Upgrade DVD Disk; close drawer.

6. Turn on power to game with the Soft Power Button (if available).

It is important to not lose power

or turn off the game during this software update!

7. The game should automatically detect the DVD player and run the Installer program.

8. Installer will read your CID, I/O board, & Nighthawk chassis to make sure this upgrade is possible.

9. Press start to connect to ITNet for authorization. A Successful message will appear when

complete.

10. Press start again to begin the installation of the software upgrade. Please be patient during this

process.

Important! Do not lose power or turn off the game after the start button has been

pressed or any time while the update is in progress.

11. The upgrade will take about 20-30 minutes to complete.

12. When the install is complete, Installer will ask you to turn off the game, remove the DVD from the

player, then disconnect the DVD player and then turn the game back on.

13. Once complete, enter the System Setup menus and verify that the software version is
