1.2 Console and Touch Screen Display

1.2.1 Touch Screen Display

The touch screen display is a Linux based computer. Every test stage and result may

be viewed on the screen and test parameters can be adjusted.

USB Port:

Enables storage of test results to an external memory and may also be used to

upload software updates. A printer may be added to print test results directly from the

Console.

CAN-BUS Cable:

Touch screen Console and the control card communicate via Can-Bus

protocol for high speed data transfer.

LAN Port:

Direct connection to a network enables sending test result as e-mails, online

updates and remote access.
