Safety Notes
The units (receiver and power supply unit) correspond
to all required directives of the EU and are therefore
marked with

It is essential to observe the following items:

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
G
Do not set the receiver into operation, or immedi -
ately disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains socket if
1. there is visible damage to the units or to the
mains supply cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or simi-
lar accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
The units must in any case be repaired by skilled
personnel.

A damaged mains cable of the power supply unit
must only be replaced by the manufacturer or by
skilled personnel.
G
Never pull the mains cable of the power supply unit
to disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket,
always seize the plug.
G
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
G
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the units are used for other pur -
pos es than originally intended, if they are not cor-
rectly connected, operated, or not repaired in an
expert way.

Important for U. K. Customers!
The wires in the mains lead of the power supply unit
are coloured in accord ance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be con nect -
ed to the terminal in the plug which is marked with
the letter N or coloured black.
WARNING
The power supply unit is supplied with
hazardous mains voltage (230 V~).
Never make any modifications on the
power supply unit. Inexpert handling
may cause an electric shock hazard.
