NOTE:
1. Bear in mind that a new appliance can develop odours the first few times it is used. These
odours are harmless and disappear shortly afterwards. Ventilate the room.
2. Transparent parts can become opaque, due to use.
Insert the plug into the socket, while holding the appliance by the handle to prevent it from falling in the
event that it was not stored in the OFF position.
Press the ON/OFF button (10) once to switch the vacuum cleaner on or off [Fig. E1]:
Switch the appliance off after use, by pressing the ON-OFF button (10) and disconnect the plug
from the socket.
Wind the cable (4) round the two hooks (2A and 2B) [Fig. D1]. Use the rubber clamp on the plug to
fasten the latter to the cable.
MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Switch the appliance off and unplug it from the socket before
opening the dust collection system!
Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
When necessary, clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
ATTENTION! DO NOT USE SOLVENTS OR OTHER AGGRESSIVE OR ABRASIVE
DETERGENTS. THIS CAN DAMAGE THE SURFACE.
CLEANING THE COMBINATION BRUSH (5)
With the motor on and the bristles in position (A)
(extended bristles), rub the lower part of
the brush with your hand to remove dust and fluff that will be directly vacuumed.
REPLACING THE DUST BAG (9B)
Replace the dust bag (9B) as soon as the dust bag full indicator (11) turns red.
Due so promptly: this will prevent any suction loss, as well as an excessively full dust bag from
breaking.
ATTENTION! The dust bag full indicator can also go on due to a reduction in
suction caused by a large obstructing object. If so, switch the appliance off,
unplug it and remove the object from the vacuum cleaner.
Change the dust bag (9B) according to the instructions below and while paying attention to the figures
in the illustrative guide.
• Pull the dust bag compartment lever (8) [Fig. F1].
• Remove the dust bag compartment cover (7) [Fig. F2].
• Remove the dust bag (9B) making it slide upwards [Fig. F3A].
• Change the dust bag (9B) with a new one [Fig. F3B].
• Put the new dust bag in (9B) taking care to slide it inside the guides (9A) [Fig. F3C] all the way in
and so that the safety interlock (9C) is in a vertical position.
• Fasten the dust bag compartment cover (7) to the appliance by inserting the lower part into its
guide [Fig. F2].
