The audio input

 Channel 1/2 Transmit Source 

parameter selects which audio channel 

coming from the audio connector on the back module to transmit. The audio output

 

Channel 1/2 Output Source

 parameter selects which (of two) audio channels to apply to 

each output audio channel. 

You can transmit the audio channels in the configuration they had when they entered the 
module, or switch the audio channels, or output the one or the other audio channel from 
both channels.
