NX1011 MIOH
The Nexio NX1011 MIOH media host is designed to support N + 1 NX1011 MIOH devices streaming data
from fibre channel shared storage over Ethernet to clients that are attached via Ethernet. This system
design allows Nexio to scale to very large channel counts, without being vulnerable to single points of
failure in the connective layer. The drawing shows four NX1011 MIOHs, two fibre channel switches, two
Ethernet switches, Farad storage, and up to 16 clients. The clients in this example are Nexio NX3801 HDX
devices.
NX1011 FCP
The Nexio NX1011 FCP allows you to connect multiple Macintosh clients using direct connections. The
number of clients you can connect depends on the codec you are using.
