- In all cases, observe the respective current safety in-
structions and the environmental protection conditions
and instructions.
- Long battery life will be achieved by regular use of the
equipment. Avoid fully discharging the equipment. De-
fects resulting from improper use are not covered by
the guarantee.
1. Connect the power supply unit (8) to a socket. The
LED charge indicator (7) is illuminated red as long as
the equipment is connected to the mains
2. Connect the charger cable plug (9) to the equipment
charging socket (6).
3. When charging is completed, green light on. First re-
move the plug from the socket then disconnect the
charger cable plug from the equipment.
NOTE:
Ensure that the equipment is not charged for
more than 5 hours without interruption. The battery and
equipment could be damaged and more energy than
necessary will be consumed with a longer charging pe-
riod. Overcharging will invalidate the guarantee.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always keep the equipment clean. Do not use abrasive
cleaning agents or solvents. These may damage the
equipment.
• Clean the equipment and saw blade with a soft brush
or cloth after each use.
• In case of heavy dirt, remove the saw blade (See
“CHANGING AND SAW BLADE) and clean the cog
and contact face of the saw blade thoroughly.
STORAGE
• Keep the equipment dry and out of reach of children.
• Store the equipment between 10 C and 30 C. Avoid
extremes of cold and heat during storage, in order to
prevent impairment of battery performance.
• Charger the equipment before storing it unused for a
longer period. Recharge the equipment after no more
than 6 months.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of dispos-
ing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and
packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling
centre and disposed of in a manner which is
compatible with the environment.
When the rechargeable batteries are no longer
required, they must be disposed of in an envi-
ronmentally protective way. Run the battery com-
pletely down and then remove it from the tool.
The rechargeable battery contain Lithium-ion (Li-
ion). They are recyclable. Take them to your tool
dealer or a local recycling centre to be disposed
of properly. Do not incinerate Li-ion battery as
they may explode when exposed to fire. Do not
attempt to open the battery packs.
WARRANTY
For this electric tool, the company provides the end
user - independently from the retailer‘s obligations re-
sulting from the purchasing contract - with the following
warranties:
The warranty period is 24 months beginning from the
hand-over of the device which has to be proved by
the original purchasing document. For commercial use
and use for rent, the warranty period is reduced to 12
months. Wearing parts and defects caused by the use
of non fitting accessories, repair with parts that are not
original parts of the manufacturer, use of force, strokes
and breaking as well as mischievous overloading of the
motor are excluded from this warranty. Warranty replace-
ment does only include defective parts, not complete
devices. Warranty repair shall exclusively be carried
out by authorized service partners or by the company‘s
customer service. In the case of any intervention of not
authorized personnel, the warranty will be held void.
All postage or delivery costs as well as any other subse-
quent expenses will be borne by the customer.
