Switching on and off
1. To switch on, push the safety lock (1) forwards.
2. press the on/off switch (5) and release the safety lock.
The equipment will run at top speed.
3. To switch off, release the on/off switch.
CAutIoIn! After being switched off, the saw
blade continues to run.
Do not touch the rotating saw blade. Danger of injury.
• Ensure a firm stance and always keep the saw blade
in view when working.
• When cutting, ensure that the saw blade does not
come into contact with objects such as wire, pieces
of metal, stones etc. This may result in damage to the
cutting device. If the blade becomes jammed by solid
objects, switch off the equipment immediately.
• Always use a sharp saw blade in order to achieve good
cutting performance and to protect the equipment.
• When working, do not strain the equipment so much
that it comes to a standstill.

Before start sawing, the blade cover (8) is normal close.
1. Introduce the equipment to the branch when it is
switched on and the saw blade (3) is rotating.
2. place the top stop edge (2) of the equipment on the
branch, in order to prevent jerky movements at the
start of the cut.
3. IMAGe A:
direct cut (branches up to 2 cm thick)
use light pressure to guide the saw blade through
the branch.
The blade cover will open according.
IMAGe B:
round cut (branches up to 3,5 cm thick)
move the saw blade through the branch in a rotating
movement.
remove the branch and the blade cover will returning to
“close” position.

replace blunt, bent or damaged saw blades.
Clean the cog and contact face of the saw blade thor-
oughly before inserting a new saw blade.
1. unscrew the crosshead screw (4) on the saw blade (3).
2. Take out the saw blade cover and the saw blade (3).
3. Insert the new saw blade. The direction of rotating of
the arrow on the saw blade must match that on the
saw blade cover.
4. screw the saw blade cover back on.

The charger is to be operated only in dry areas. The ex-
ternal surface of the equipment must be clean and dry
before the charger is connected.
Do not switch on the equipment whilst it is charging.
There is a risk of electric shocks or fire.
- To charge the integrated battery in the equipment, use
only the charger supplied.
- fully charge the equipment before initial use. Do not
charge the battery for several short periods consecu-
tively. The recommended charging period is 3-5 hours.
- New equipment or equipment that has not been used
for long time must first be charged and will achieve
its full performance only after approx. 5 charging/dis-
charging cycles.
