About Fiber Optic Cords
Attaching a strobe via fiber optic connection requires the camera’s
built-in flash to fire each time a photo is taken. Firing the camera’s
flash will cause increased lag time between photos and decrease
camera battery life.
Attaching a Fiber Optic Cord
1.
Camera flash must be raised BEFORE the camera is closed inside
the housing.
2.
Turn the camera ON.
3.
Check the end of the fiber optic cord to ensure that it is clean and
smooth.
4.
Ensure that the fiber optic cord o-ring is in place. This o-ring does
not provide waterproofing, however it does keep the fiber optic cord
in place.
