Please note:
The cable of the fall arresting device
with rescue-lifting device (HRA) pulls in
automatically until the rescue lift function is
activated.
The instruction manual and safety instructions for
the IKAR fall-arresting devices with rescue-lifting
device (HRA) and the IKAR winch for loads and
persons (PLW) must be observed.
Similar to illustration
Follow these steps to assemble two IKAR HRA fall arresting
devices with rescue-lifting devices :
Bolt the two mounting brackets to the cantilever lower arm
using the bolts provided. Insert the HRA device from above and
lock into place with the socket pin provided (

Pull out the socket pin from the upper arm locking mechanism
and fold the cantilever upper arm down. Pull out the socket pin
on the lower pulley and fold the pulley out and upwards.
Pull the cable and snap hook through and lay in the pulley.
Then fold back the pulley and lock into place with the socket
pin.
Pull out the socket pin from the upper cable cover and fold
cover plate (

) up. Pull the carabiner through and lay the cable
in the pulley. Then close the cover plate (

) and lock in place
with the socket pin. Hook the snap hook into the eyelet.
The IKAR winch for loads and persons is assembled as
follows:
Pull out the socket pin and push the winch for loads with
attached mounting bracket onto the rear part of the upper arm
(

Then secure the winch for loads inplace with the socket pin.
Turn the hand crank to unroll cable from the drum. Open the
top rope cover as described above, pull in the cable with the
carabiner and close (
