Advisory Tones
Your BoB2™ handset uses advisory tones to accompany the things you do. These advisory tones are grouped
into three categories:
Key Tones
•
Confirm every key pressed.
Confirm Tones
•
Entry tone (ascending tone sequence) confirms setting changes and new entries to the directory.
•
Error tone (descending ton sequence) advises that there has been an incorrect entry.
•
Menu end tone confirms you have scrolled to the end of the menu.
Battery Tone
•
Confirms that the battery charge is low.
Changing the Advisory Tones
1.
Press the upper control key
and select ‘
Advisory Tones
’, then press ‘
OK
’.
2.
Use the control keys to scroll through the three categories and toggle then to ‘
On
’ or ‘
Off
’. You can also
set ‘
Battery Tone
’ to ‘
In call
’, meaning you will only hear the advisory tone if the battery runs low during a
phone call.
3.
Save your changes by pressing the display key below ‘
Save
