In the case of loss of your INFOBAR A01, calling the INFOBAR A01
from a specified phone number repeatedly allows you to remotely
prevent others from using the INFOBAR A01.

Activating the Remote Lock from a specified phone
number
Call the INFOBAR A01 from a phone number registered to the valid number
list with the set conditions (specified period/number of calls arrived).

Activating the Remote Lock with the Security Lock
Service
Even if the Remote lock is not set in advance, the Remote lock can be
activated by calling Customer Service Center or completing the
application process on au Customer Support from a PC.
The Security Lock Service is available free of charge.

Allow you to cancel the Remote lock by operating
the INFOBAR A01.
•
If you enable the setting, canceling the Remote
lock is available by operating the INFOBAR A01
or performing remote operation.
•
If you disable the setting, canceling the Remote
lock is available only by performing remote
operation.
•
To activate the Remote lock, notify the caller’s phone number.
•
The Remote lock cannot be activated when the INFOBAR A01 is turned off or
out of service area or
Offline mode
is set. If your INFOBAR A01 is in a location
where an adequate signal cannot be received, the Remote lock may not be
activated.
•
To cancel the Remote lock, call the INFOBAR A01 from a phone number
registered to the valid number list with the set conditions (specified period/
number of calls arrived).
•
The Remote lock cannot be activated or canceled when your au IC-Card is
not inserted or another’s au IC-Card is inserted.
•
You must fill out an application to use the Security Lock Service (the
application can be filled out even after your cell phone is lost).
