4) Final Checks
Having completed above periodic maintenance operations, carry out
the following:
•
Make sure the magnetic head (1) is firmly locked in its seat.
•
Check that the hinged paper guide (2) is locked in its closed
position.
•
Ensure that the mobile rear feeder assembly flange (3) is
correctly positioned on its fixed counterpart.
•
Ensure that the printhead (4) is correctly positioned in its holder
i.e. pushed all the way towards the front of the printer and
locked in this position (see Page 32).
•
Reconnect the printer to the host (see Page 16) and to the AC
line power (see Page 16).
•
Reload the printer with media (see Page 18).
•
Print a status coupon (see Page 26) to check for correct printer
operation.
