2) User Interface Key Functions
a) On-Line Mode
In this mode the following keys are active:

On/Off Line
Menu

Switching to the
Menu Navigation
mode
Pressing this key switches the printer to the
Menu Navigation ( Off-Line) mode and
allows you to scroll through the various
menus.
Esc key
Clears the warning
and error
messages
Use this key to clear the warning messages
from the LCD. Also press this key to recover
from an error condition, once you have
solved the problem.
Pressing this key when no message is
displayed has no effect, except on coupons
inserted through the front feed slot: They are
ejected from the printer when this key is
pressed (and no message displayed).
The
Esc key does not change the mode of
operation, the printer stays in On-Line
mode.
b) Menu Navigation Mode
In this mode the following keys are active:

Switching to the
On-Line mode
This key can be considered a shortcut to the
On-Line mode. It can be used any time to
stop navigation and to exit the Menu
Navigation mode, no matter where you are
located in the menus.
Up-Arrow

Down-Arrow

Navigation
These two arrow keys let you navigate
through the various submenus. They directly
control the
Æ
- cursor that indicates which
submenu you can select.
