DEVICES FOR CAM LATHES - FOREWORD

This bar feeder has been designed and manufactured to be coupled to cam lathes too. To do
this, special devices are available which are listed and then described below.

2.8.1 Cam box - Description

Used to synchronize the bar feeder and cam lathe
movements. The cams located in the box (A) are
connected to the lathe camshaft (B).

2.8.2 Camshaft release device - Description

Releases and engages the camshaft during the bar change phase. A radial version and an axial
version of this device are available.
