13. Troubleshooting
☞
Broken or abnormal letters show on the LCD, when powered on.
Cause Of troubles of circuits near around
Solution
1. Initialize the controller referring “hardware initialization of the manual”
2. Set the current time in Set-Up menu of F1 and turn its power off and on
again.
3. If the problem remains after performing 1, 2 of the above, please contact
designated service center.

The controller does not communicate with PC.
Cause
Defective cable is used, errors in wiring, an error in setting COMM ID of the
controller, or damage on the communication port
(either on PC side or on the controller side).
Solution
1. Please, check the settings of the application S/W and the controller.
- Check the controller’s COMM ID is listed on the application S/W.
- Set the different COMM ID when two or more controllers are installed.
- Check the communication speed (Default 9600bps) is the same as the setting on
the S/W.
- Make sure that the PC’s COM port is set correctly on the S/W.
- The parameters at the S/W should be set as follows.
Parity bit : NONE
Data bit : 8bit
Stop bit : 1bit
