PC/SC 2.0 Compliant Answer To Reset (ATR) for Contactless Interface
When a user credential is placed near the reader, initialization, anti-collision is done. The user
credential is automatically activated and an Answer To Reset (ATR) is built as defined in the PC/SC
specification. For further information, please refer to section 3.1.3.2.3 of [PCSC3] and to [PCSC3-SUP].
5.3.3.1:
ATR for Contactless Storage User Tokens
The ATR of the user credential is composed as described in the following table. For the application to
identify the storage card properly, its Standard and Card name describing bytes must be interpreted
according to the Part 3 Supplemental Document, which is maintained by PC/SC. Credentials using
technology like MIFARE are examples of this.
