PROBLEM DIAGNOSTIC SOLUTION
Green water, slippery walls, green
depositions on walls… Presence of algae due to
low free chlorine levels

Make a shock treatment.
o
Increase free chlorine level up to 10
ppm and add flocculant
o
Adjust pH to 7.2 - 7.6
o
Filter continuously during 8 hours.
o
Sweep pool walls and floor.
o
Backwash filter.
o
Repeat shock treatment until the
elimination of the problem
Cloudy and/or off-white water,
appearance of white or greyish
incrustations on walls and
accessories… pH higher than 8.0,
