Esprit -

Installation and Servicing

61 GAS CONTROL VALVE REPLACEMENT

Refer to Frame 52.

Swing the control box down into the servicing position.
Refer to Frame 46.

Unplug the electrical lead connection from the gas
control valve and disconnect the earth wire.

Undo the gas inlet pipe union at the gas service cock.

Undo the union nut on the outlet of the gas control valve.

Remove the back nut retaining the valve to the bottom
panel and withdraw the valve upwards.

Fit the new gas control valve.

Check operation of the boiler. Refer to Frame 52.

62 DIVERTER VALVE ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT

Refer to Frame 52.

Swing the control box down into the
servicing position. Refer to Frame 46.

Remove the electrical connection.

Using a suitable tool pull out the retaining
clip and lift the diverter head from the
brass body.

Fit new actuator head and reassemble in
reverse order.

Check operation of the boiler. Refer to
Frame 52.
