coNNectINg the IB-NAS5310 to your coMPuter
the ib-naS5310 is a multifunctional hard drive enclosure. in addition to being a network storage device,
you can also use it as a standalone external hard drive via the uSb interface.
uSB Mode
in uSb 3.0 High Speed mode, the ib-naS5310 is directly attached to a single computer using the uSb
port.
Attention:
the ib-naS5310 must not be connected to the network and uSb at the same time.
Attention:
Due to the FAT32 file system the maximum file size for transfers in USB mode is limited to 4
GB. In NAS mode files bigger than 4 GB are acceptable.
Mac OS X
driver installation is not required for systems using Mac OS 10.1.2 or above. Simply connect the
ib-naS5310 using the included uSb cable and access the data by clicking the "untitled" Hdd icon
located on your desktop.
Windows
driver installation is not required for Windows operating systems. Simply connect the ib-naS5310 using
the included uSb cable and access the data via "My computer".
NAS Modus
in naS mode, the ib-naS5310 is directly attached to an ethernet switch. each user on the network can
use the ib-naS5310 almost as if it were a local drive.
Connecting to your Network
Verbinden Sie den Stromadapter mit der
