PPPoE
Some dSl-based iSPs use PPPoe (Point-to-Point Protocol over ethernet) to let users establish internet
access. all local users can share one PPPoe connection to access the internet.

enter your user name provided by your iSP.

Service On Demand
the router will Only connect to your iSP on demand.
Idle Time
(Seconds)
idle time means the storage will disconnect after being idle for a
preset amount of time. if you set the time to 0, the PPP session
will not terminate itself.
Max Connection Time
(hours)
after the preset amount of hours the PPP session will terminate
itself
IP Address Negotiation
iP address and Subnet Mask should be assigned within the same
network as the PPPoe-enabled dSl modem.
fixed IP Address
you can manually assign an iP address to the interface.
