SCAN OPERATION
■
Skip channel setting
The memory skip function speeds up scanning by checking
only those memory channels not set as skip channels. Set
skip channels as follows.

Select a memory channel:

Push [M/CALL(PRIO)] to select memory mode.

Rotate the tuning dial to select the desired channel to
be a skip channel.

Push [SET(LOCK)] to enter set mode.

Push [SET(LOCK)] or [MW(S.MW)] several times until
“CHS” appears as shown above.

Rotate the tuning dial to turn the skip function ON or OFF
for the selected channel.

: The channel is skipped during scan.

” disappears : The channel is scanned during scan.

Push [V/MHz(SCAN)] to exit set mode.

Select a memory channel.

NOTES:
Even through scan edge channels cannot be set as skip
channels, the ARE skipped during memory scan.
SET mode cannot be accessed when memory names are
displayed. To set the scan resume condition, return to
channel number indication by pushing [MONI(ANM)] on
the front panel for 1 sec., or push [FUNC] then
[
MONI
1(ANM)] to cancel the channel name indication, then
set as describes above.
