Tone squelch and DTCS squelch

The tone squelch or DTCS squelch opens when a sig-
nal with the same pre-programmed subaudible tone or
DTCS code is received.

Setting tone frequency or DTCS code

Setting DTCS polarity

For DTCS operation, the polarity setting is also confi gu-
rable, as well as the code setting. If the polarity is differ-
ent, the DTCS squelch never opens, even when receiv-
ing a signal that includes a matching DTCS code.
