Set mode programming
The Set mode is used to change the settings of the
transceiver’s functions: Scan type, Scan resume timer, Weather
alert, Beep tone, Internal speaker, LCD contrast, Attenuation
level, Automatic foghorn frequency, Radio power*

Set mode items

Scan type
The transceiver has 2 scan types: normal scan and priority
scan. Normal scan searches all TAG channels in the
selected channel group. Priority scan sequentially searches
all TAG channels while monitoring Channel 16.
(Default: Normal)

Scan resume timer
The scan resume timer can be selected as a pause (OFF)
or timer scan (ON). When OFF is selected, the scan pauses
until the signal disappears. When ON is selected, the scan
pauses 5 seconds and then resumes, even if a signal has
been received on any channel other than Channel 16.
(Default: OFF)
