6.2.6    SAS 

SAS:  Steering  Angle  Sensor  (SAS)  calibration,  calibrates  the  steering 

wheel to straight ahead, or recalibrates SAS while steering part replacement 
(Take Jaguar as a sample). 

If the steering column or instrument cluster is replaced or the instrument 

cluster  software  is  updated,  a  body  system  steering  column  calibration  is 
required. 

1) 

Select  the  "SAS"  icon  in  the  service  function  icon,  Select  the  correct 
vehicle according to the on-screen instructions. 

2) 

Select “body system steering column calibration” in the function list and 
follow the screen prompts. 

 

3) 

The  screen  prompts  that  you  need  to  input  the  3rd  to  10th  digit  tag 
numbers, and enter as required.
