About this guide

This publication provides information that helps you install and initialize IBM FlashSystem 5000 systems.

Who should use this guide

This guide is intended for installers of FlashSystem 5000 systems.
Before configuring your system, ensure that you follow the procedures as listed. Be sure to gather IP

addresses that you will need before you begin the installation.
