Manually Installing the ODI Client Driver for OS/2
To install the driver on an OS/2 workstation, perform the following
steps:

Choose a target directory path on the diskette or the hard disk
(for example,
C:\NETWARE
) for installation of the
IBMEINWC.OS2 driver and its associated files.

Copy the IBMEINWC.OS2 file to the target directory.

Add the following lines to the CONFIG.SYS file (if not already
present):
DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\LSL.SYS
RUN=C:\NETWARE\DDAEMON.EXE
DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\IBMEINWC.OS2
DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\IPX.SYS
Notes:
a. The Novell NetWare OS/2 support files must be installed
before running the OS/2 requester. Refer to
Novell
NetWare Requester for OS/2
for more information on how
to install the NetWare Requester for OS/2.
b. These lines must appear in the order indicated. Refer to
Novell NetWare Requester for OS/2
for more information
on editing the CONFIG.SYS file.

If you need to change any IBMEINWC.OS2 driver parameter
values from the defaults, edit the NET.CFG file to change only
those parameters.
You can use any text editor to edit the NET.CFG file. Refer to
Novell NetWare Version 3.11 Installation
or the NetWare 4.0
Workstation for OS/2
for more information about the NET.CFG
file. Table 6-5 on page 6-31 contains the parameters that can
be configured at OS/2 workstations by setting keywords in the
NET.CFG file.
