Completing the Installation
__ 1.
Power on the PC or workstation that is your system unit console.
__ 2. Is your system unit a 270/810 or 820/825?

270 or 810 : Continue with the next step.
__ 820, 825, 830, 840, SB2, SB3, 870 or 890 : Go to step 5.
__ 3. Look at the Function/Data display on the control panel.
__ 4. Does

appear in the Function/Data display?
__ Yes : Go to step 7 on page 8.

No
: Do the following:
__ a. Press the Increment/Decrement push button until

Press the Enter push button on the control panel.
__ c. Press the Increment/Decrement push button until

the Function/Data display.
__ d. Press the Enter push button on the control panel.
__ e. Press the Increment/Decrement push button until

the Function/Data display.
__ f. Press the Enter push button on the control panel.
__ g. Press the Increment/Decrement push button until

appears in
the Function/Data display.
__ h. Press the Enter push button on the control panel.
__ i.
Press the Increment/Decrement push button until

in the Function/Data display.
__ j. Press the Enter push button on the control panel.

should appear in the Function/Data display. If it does
not, repeat steps 4a through 4i.
__ k. Go to step 7 on page 8.
__ 5. Look at the Function/Data display on the control panel.

appear in the Function/Data display and is the manual
mode indicator (a small hand) illuminated?

Yes : Continue with the next step.

No
: Do the following:
__ a. Press the Mode Select button until the Manual mode indicator
(a small hand) is illuminated.
__ b.
Press the Increment/Decrement push button until
