Did any of the library LEDs flash on and off?
Yes  No

Perform the following remove procedures:

“Library Chassis Covers” on page CARR-4.

For this step, refer to Figure 14 on
page MAPS-29, then power-off the library
and remove the power cable plugged into
the top of the library control card at
connector CD5. The other end goes to the
power supply. Power-on and check for
proper voltages at the CD5, as defined in
the referenced figure.

Do the voltages check OK?
Yes  No

Replace the following FRUs in the
order listed.

Cable from the power supply to the

If this is a library model, perform the following
removal procedures:

“Library Chassis Covers” on page CARR-4.

“FID B2: Cooling Pack” on page CARR-12.

“Drive Assembly Top Cover” on page CARR-16.

If this is a drive-only model, perform the following
removal procedures:

“Decorative Cover—Drive-Only Models” on
page  CARR-5.

“FID B2: Cooling Pack” on page CARR-12.

“Drive Assembly Top Cover” on page CARR-16.

You now have access to the power cable going
from the power supply to the mother board. Also,
refer to Figure 15 on page MAPS-29 for a power
diagram. Unplug the power cable from mother
board at connector CD3, and power the device on.
Check for the appropriate voltages at the cable
pins shown in the referenced figure.
