you

with

planning

pre-installation

activities.

IBM

planning

for

your

new

system

will

facilitate

a

smooth

installation

and

fast

system

start-up.

The

use

of

the

terms,

’processor’,

’system’

and

’all

models’

in

this

publication

refer

to

the

zSeries

800

system.

System

Planning

As

part

of

your

system

planning

activity,

you

will

make

decisions

about

where

to

locate

your

equipment,

who

will

operate

the

system,

and

so

on.

A

good

plan

ensures

that

the

equipment

and

materials

are

ready

to

use

when

the

zSeries

800

system

arrives.

You

should

select

an

efforts.

One
